Principal Mechanical Engineer

Main Responsibilities:


Mechanical Engineer/Analyst

  • 15+ years of experience with model simulation.
  • Thermal and Structural Analysis of embedded systems.
  • Experienced with electronics and component level detail.
  • Ability to lead Design Verification Testing and Qualification testing of electronic equipment; and complete supporting documentation.
  • Experience with manufacturing support, Six-Sigma and Failure Investigations.
  • Comfortable consulting as subject matter expert on multiple topics and interfacing with customer technical authority, troubleshooting , post-processing, interpreting and presenting results.
  • Familiar with FloEFD, Ansys, NX, Fluent, Icepak and/or Solidworks Simulation/Flow Simulation.
  • Requires successful security assessment under Canadian CGP.


Product Design


  • Mechanical design of Embedded Systems.
  • Minimum +15 years of experience with electronic assemblies.
  • Familiar with military specifications and VITA standards.
  • Comfortable consulting as subject matter expert on multiple topics and interface with customer technical authority, problem solving and conducting design reviews.
  • Experience with SOLIDWORKS. Creo and NX considered an asset.

Salary: $115,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
